Concurrent/Driven acquired by Xplenty. What does this mean for Cascading?

As part of our recent acquisition of Concurrent/Driven, Xplenty is also taking charge of Cascading, the popular open source project that is used to create and execute complex data processing workflows on Hadoop clusters.

The Cascading framework is utilized in companies such as Twitter, Expedia, Capital One, and many more small startups and large enterprises. All of them discovered the value that the framework provides to their Big Data architecture. As a company focused on delivering the best cloud-based data integration service, The Cascading project was very appealing to us, and we look forward to continuing to develop it for our users.
